The Lunch Thief

Christian is the clown of the family for those of you who may not know him. He's constantly making me laugh at the silly things he does. He has a certain daily ritual that I'd like to share with you. Each morning I pack Ryan a lunch to take to school with him, and each morning after breakfast we all must say goodbye to Ryan (dad) for the day. This is especially hard for Christian because he knows he won't see his dad until bedtime. So to make his father linger just a little longer, he's turned into "The Lunch Thief". He'll take Ryan's lunchbox while Ryan isn't looking, and he'll go hide with it in another part of the house. So each morning Ry has to go on a little hunt to go find his lunch before he leaves. Once he's found, Christian does not give the lunch back very easily. He doesn't like to see his father go. In the picture above, you'll see that he even tried hiding the lunchbox by putting his shirt over it, thinking that this would conceal it even more. Is that just precious or what? So who knows how long this will go on, but for now we love our little lunch thief, and cherish that extra time he "steals" for us each morning.
