Recently I talked about giving my kids creative, play time where they can use their imagination, and just be a kid! Well, this is the result of that. Pierce was bored the other day, so with a little ingenuity he created this swing and hung it up all by himself on the apricot tree in the front yard (we so miss our playset at our old house!). It's now a big hit amongst the kids and they've spent a lot of time swinging on it! Ah the simple things in life. Makes me happy when they can find joy in something so simple that didn't cost a penny!

That is so cool! He's going to take after Ryan isn't he? Oh, we already knew that! It's amazing what kids will do when they are bored! We should let them be bored more often!
