Letter to Santa

Is there anything more precious than a letter to Santa written by a child? Christian was determined to write Santa a letter and mail it to him. So he very carefully wrote his letter and I took him to the post office to mail it. They have a special mailbox there just for Santa's letters, with a big picture of Santa on it and all. They said to put our return address on it because often times Santa will write back! Christian was so excited to put his letter in the mailbox! Oh, and on the back of the envelope he had to add one more thing that he forgot to put on the letter. He wrote in big letters, "What do your elves look like?" I guess he wants to know if they really look like the ones in the movies! Cute!

In case you can't tell what he wrote, he wants a DS (Nintendo). Great--that means all my kids now want something that costs over $100.

Oh, and I must add that Christian has definitely been good for Santa! Every day for the last week he has been asking what he can do to help around the house. He cleaned the bathroom, cleaned spots on the carpet, cleaned the office, has made my bed each day, cleaned up his room and made his own bed each day, helped me cook dinner each night, mopped the kitchen floor, I mean seriously, he has been a little angel and so willing to do anything! He really wants to please "Santa", and indeed I believe he has!
