There are so many nice things about living near the beach, one of them being that it is FREE-NINETY-FREE to go there! We're all over free entertainment, especially when it's somebody's birthday...like Pierce! We gave him the choice of three places we could go for his birthday: 1) Jamestown. 2) Washington D.C. 3) The beach. He of course chose the beach! So we packed up the cooler with some sandwiches, drinks, and munchies; packed up all the beach paraphernalia, and we had a great time. The ocean was a little crazy this time compared to the last. Lots of waves, not huge waves, but lots of angry waves continuously coming in so it was hard for the kids to boogie board. But we had fun watching the surfers, seagulls, making sand castles, looking for shells, resting, and people watching. You just can't beat a good day at the beach, especially with a handsome little 11-year-old who you can call your very own!

Okay I am officially jealous....I would love live that close to a beach!! It looks so fun!! Great Pics!! Happy Birthday Pierce!! Tell Ryan he needs to lose the West Haven farmer tan if he is going to fit in with the locals!! Hee Hee!!
