For as long as I can remember, one of our most important Dale Family Christmas traditions was/is singing Silent Night (Stille Nacht) in German after our reenactment of the Nativity on Christmas Eve. This is something that always made my Mom (who is 100% German) cry, and in my older age never fails to make me cry. It is something we hold special and sacred in our family. So this one's for my mama, across the miles, wishing we could be together this Christmas. And I didn't cry! Another Christmas miracle among all the others that have been happening the last couple of days for our family. The tradition is alive and well here in Virginia, and always will be no matter where we roam! Hope the miracle of Christmas fills your home with peace and joy beyond measure. My favorite quote of the season: Blessings come to those who notice! So true.
