Holiday Highlights

~Playing for Spanish branch only to witness Primary Program (in the chapel mind you) where all the kids wore Santa hats and reindeer antlers with little bells on them the whole time! Yikes!
~Being carolled to
~Delivering goodies & a quick roadside stop so I could throw up
~Delivering our first Book of Mormon as a family-oh how I wish I could be as fearless as a child!
~Receiving many packages in the mail from family in Utah
~Eating mom's King's cake and German stollen
~Birdwatching
~No school day because of 1 inch of snow, yes, 1 inch
~Receiving 1 foot of snow Christmas night and having church cancelled the next day (didn't have to teach!!)
~Having Ryan home for 2 weeks-we have been so spoiled!
~Building a fire in the fireplace every single day
~Playing games
~Late movie nights
~Having "nightcaps" every night (Cranapple juice mixed with cherry 7Up)
~Attending a "Messiah" sing-a-long with Gwen and the Brimhall girls
~Indulging in delicious holiday treats
~Honey-Do list all checked off
~Lights on the Beach-approximately 30,000 cars come see this each year. The city lines the boardwalk for 30 blocks with all sorts of Christmas lights. It is the only time that cars are allowed to drive on the boardwalk. Pretty cool.
~Trip to the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk for drawing/sketching instruction by Pres. Brimhall.
~Nerf War in the church gym for the guys of the ward-what a perfect idea!
~Gwennie's Academic Challenge team began their matches-it amazes me how much middle-school aged kids know! Gwen rocks.
